24th October - A 6-3 6-2 lose for Silvia, but the scoreline doesnt matter! GOODBYE SILVIA! I WILL NEVER FOR GET YOU

22nd October- Silvia has been drawn against Wildcard Kirsten Flipkens in the opening round! GOOD LUCK SILVIA

17th October - After a slow start, Silvia lost 6-1 6-4 to Myskina and now goes to Hasselt in her final event on the tour

15th October - Silvia defeats Elena 2-6 6-4 2-0 ret and now takes on Myskina in round 2

14th October - After 8 1st round losses (including US Open) since Wimbledon, Silvia takes on Elena Likhovtseva in the 1st round of Zurich.

25th July - After taking a break after Wimbledon, Silvia returned to the clay at home in a tier 4 tournament in Palmero but injured her shoulder in the 1st round against Pironkova and retired at 6-7 0-2, hopefully she is ok

24th June - Silvia went out of Wimbledon after losing to Elena Likhovtseva 5-7 6-4 6-4

23rd June - Roberta Vinci and Silvia lost in the opening round of the doubles to Callens & Gagliardi 6-3 7-6

22nd June - Despite a scare, Silvia progressed to the final 32 of Wimbledon by taking it Maria Vento-Kabchi 6-1 5-7 6-3  

20th June - Silvia defeated Martina Sucha 6-4 6-2 to make it through to the 2nd round

17th June - Silvia has been draw against Martina Sucha in the opening round of Wimbledon and in doubles with Roberta Vinci they take on top seeds Ruano Pascual & Suarez  

16th June - Silvia has been declared the 22nd seed for Wimbledon

14th June - Silvia lost to Razzano 3-6 6-4 4-6

12th June - Silvia Farina Elia has been drawn against Virgine Razzano in the opening round of the Eastboune tournament

27th May - Silvia lost in the 3rd round of the French Open to Russian Elena Likhovseva 7-5 7-6

25th May - Silvia defeated Arantxa Parra in two sets 7-5 6-2 to reach the final 32

23rd May - In the opening round of the French Open, Silvia came through against Anne Kremer 7-5 6-2
